What is difference between Jihad and War?

 Jihad:

 The literal meaning of Jihad is effort and in religious terms it refers to the effort to protect, promote and defend the religion of the Muslim Ummah. Accepting Allah as the Ruler of the world requires that every Muslim should follow Allah rules in the affairs of his life. Also, don't let anyone else rule against Allah . If someone wants to take the power of his hands and enforce his law, then he should play with his life and fight against it. The worship of Islam is a means of creating this spirit of devotion in man. Without this spirit, neither the  survival nor the development of Islam is not possible.

Difference between Jihad and War:

     The opponents of Islam propagandize against our religion that this religion spread by the force of the sword, but in reality this is not the case, the sword of a Muslim and the sword of an infidel, there is a difference between the two. The purpose of infidel war is to satisfy the lust of a particular individual, group or nation for nationalism, superiority or economic dominance. In order to achieve this goal, he uses all possible cruelty, terrorism and brutality and in case of success, he spoils the life and property, honor and dignity of the oppressed. On the contrary, the aim of Muslim Jihad is to free people from the domination of tyrannical forces, to restore their honor and their freedom. For this purpose, he binds himself to the code of Jihad given by Allah. Which does not even include the suspicion of his personal gain.

The effect of the Muslim sword is limited only to the fighting men, and then when the Muslims are victorious, then the Muslims provide an atmosphere of peace and security to the defeated nation instead of making them want revenge, and give them peace. Explains the teachings of Islam that all human beings have equal rights.Therefore, when the non-Muslim subjects like the Islamic justice system, the moral system, the political and government system and the worship system of the Muslims, they also accept Islam and the reason for their mental change is not the sword.Rather, Islamic teachings and Mujahideen are the highest characters of Islam. The task of the sword is only to wipe out the religious forces that have become an obstacle between the just system of Islam and the world of Islam.

Virtues of Jihad:

 Many virtues of Jihad have been described in the Holy Quran and Hadiths.

 Allah Ta'ala has said:

Translation: 

           Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in the way of Allah as if they were a wall covered with lead.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

 “I swear by Allah in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad. One morning or one evening journey to fight in the way of Allah is greater than all the naats in the world, And the reward of resisting the enemy in the way of Allah is greater than seventy prayers at home.”

Undoubtedly, it was the spirit of the greatness and excellence of Jihad and the longing for martyrdom that the Muslims of the early centuries dominated the world and the hearts of the enemies of Islam were haunted by their greatness.
